Stephen Zunes, Professor of Politics at the University of San Francisco, was part of a private two-hour meeting with Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad this past Wednesday. He joined special guest cohost Sharon Johnston and me to discuss this meeting and the speech Ahmadinejad gave at the UN General Assembly. We checked in with Yehoshua Long, a mechanical engineer living in the Hudson Valley, to discuss his work with Engineers for a Sustainable World (ESW) and his experiences in Uganda designing and constructing bio-gas digesters. We'll talk with New Paltz former Deputy Mayor Rebecca Rotzler about a speech she is giving this weekend at an Anti-War Rally in Syracuse which is Sponsored by Iraq Veterans Against the War. Saxophonist Ben Newsome and Bass Player Lewis Greeney will join us in the WKNY studio for some live Jazz.
